From Homeless to Hopeful: Car Needed for Work

All donations will go toward either a down payment or outright purchase of a used car. If it's not enough, I guess I'll keep it in an account until I can add more to it. But I am running out of time.

I'm homeless and have been floating all over Los Angeles County between dog sittings and cheap motels. I was only able to do so with a borrowed car, which has to be returned very soon. I need help to just buy a cheap used car directly or get a good enough down payment to overcome the disadvantages of a modestly self employed homeless person.

Hoping for a car around the $4k to $5k range (or hopefully less if I find a great deal) to keep the car reliable and not need a bunch of fixes just to get it to pass smog, nevermind other issues.
