My dearest husband Nigel Thomas has been fighting Stage 4, metastatic neck, throat and lung cancer for over two years now.

For all the many people he has touched over the course of his life, you would know how extraordinary a humanitarian he is. I call him the eternal optimist but the noble and courageous battle that he has waged has taken a tremendous physical and financial toll on us and taken away his ability to earn a living.

Nigel has the will power to overcome this terrible disease and has been preparing himself for the ultimate battle which will involve a powerful combination of radiation surgeries in tandem with chemotherapy over the course of 4 months starting at the beginning of October 2022. My daughter Sophia who is only 10 years old adores her father who is her hero and her father has been fighting not to leave us. Living with cancer changes the essence of life for the entire family at home. Daily trials of hope and faith are our reality during this time.

Many of his medical expenses are no longer covered.
