In this heartwarming and comedic romp, an eccentric family’s carefree, unconventional way of life collides with the rigid world of high society when their daughter’s engagement to a wealthy young man brings both families together, proving that the most important things in life aren’t money or status, but love and happiness. It’s funny, it’s touching, and it reminds us all that life is about family, love, and having fun – no matter what.

Now, more than ever, we feel the play’s themes of economic inequality, social divide, and the importance of personal joy over material success resonate deeply. In a world that often values profit over people, this play calls us to remember what really matters—our families, our happiness, and living life on our own terms.

This production is also incredibly close to our hearts. Emma is Moss Hart’s granddaughter, and putting on this show is a deeply personal tribute to her family’s legacy.
