Anthony's Medical & Financial Costs

This story is about my husband, Anthony Morales. Back in July 2007 he was diagnosed with a rare form of Sarcoma called Myxoid Spindle Cell Sarcoma of the abdomen. He initially was treated at Stanford Hospital for 3 years and underwent a very aggressive form of chemotherapy treatment and four major surgeries. Unfortunately, his cancer continued to grow. There were no other forms of treatments available locall where we live. One day, his cousin had suggested that we meet with an orginization called The Second Opinion in San Francisco and they had suggested that we go to a Sarcoma Center that specialized in his type of cancer. Since 2010, we have been flying back and forth to the Dana Farber Cancer Center Institute in Boston, MA for his checkups and just recently this past December 2013, we have started a new trial drug in hopes that this will help control or even eradicate my husbands' cancer. Through my husband's fight he has always been strong no matter how he feels physcially. He manages to always keep a smile on his face even when this cancer has taken a piece of him each time, he still stands strong and has always kept a positive out look in anything. Financially, through the years it has been very difficult for us to take care of all the costs related to his illness and our responsibilities at home, but we have been so afraid to ask for help from our family, friends, and even strangers. We travel every 3 weeks from California to Boston so that he can receive treatment, but the cost of hotel, food, and his other medical expenses have been very hard for both of us. We appreciate all the help anyone can provide for us. God Bless!
