Hi there, my name is Max. I’m an 8-year-old German Shepherd, and right now, I could really use some extra love, affection, and support.

Some folks call me Max, some say Maxi Poo, and a few even call me Mighty Max — but everyone who knows me just calls me the sweetest boy on the planet.

About a year ago, I had an accident and broke my back leg. My mom and dad were so scared — especially when the vet said it might be bone cancer. But after a long year of checkups, treatments, and lots of love… great news — no cancer!

Unfortunately, I did have a rod placed in my leg to help it heal, and now that’s caused a serious bone infection. Right now, I’m getting all the belly rubs, antibiotics, and pain meds I need to stay comfortable, but the truth is: the only way to stop the pain for good is to have my back leg removed.

It’s a big surgery, and it’s hard on my mom and dad — not just emotionally, but financially too. If you’re able to help, even just a little, it would mean the world to us. Any support you can give will be met with endless tail wags, grateful hearts, and lots of Max kisses.
