As some of you may know, our precious Brenda is currently in the hospital fighting a rare bone marrow cancer. She has undergone chemo, radiation, and a stem cell transplant. While a stem cell transplant has the possibility of curing her rare cancer, there are many obstacles they have been facing on their way to better health. Another step in this process is that Brenda has a continued sterile and accommodating environment during her fragile healing stages when she returns home.

Brenda is without an immune system. The smallest issue could become a substantial problem in her case.

There have been, and will continue to be, many precautions taken to protect her health.

The most immediate need is for new downstairs carpet in their home. It must be paid for by January 5th, even though Brenda won’t be coming home for a couple more months. There are also other many other accommodations that must be made for her return.

Michael has taken time off from work to be by Brenda’s side. We’d love to help them with expenses, any needs they have while healing in Indianapolis, and by also having their home ready for Brenda when that time comes.
