I’ve been asked by damos mum dad sister and Rachel to help if I can with anything so here I am asking for help …

On Saturday 6th December my best friend Rachel had her world turned upside down she lost her soul mate her husband to be. She found her partner damo unresponsive in there bed in the family home she and damo shared with both there children despite best efforts from Rachel her mum and brother Eddie performing cpr until the ambulance crew came it was all too late damo had passed in his sleep.

ive had some traumas in my life but seeing damo laying there and holding my best friend and hearing her screams whilst laying on his chest and his son Daniel at his feet has broke me, this family has had nothing but tragedy for the last two years and it has happend again.

Damo two years ago in December buried Chloe one of his twins daughters due to losing her from a bad car accident making the decision to turn the life support machine off killed damo that day, weeks later his mother to his children passed away leaving his children in yet more pain and hurt. Rachel did everything she could as a partner to support damo which being there for someone who is griefing and never got the justice for his daughter took it hard for Rachel she tried to be there day in day out for his and hers children as well as grief herself for the loss of Chloe.

Damo was a well known man in our community him and Rachel spent the last three years together and had been planning there wedding and recently had been speaking to people to have a vasectomy reversal as they wanted there own child this made damo so happy that Rachel wanted this too he was looking forward to having another baby he adored little vinnie just 5 years old little vinnie called damo dad he did everything for that little boy and vinnie adored him.

Damo was a good person yes he had his troubles and past and demons who doesn’t but Rachel saved damo loosing his daughter effected damo a lot and damo griefed everyday for his little girl.

Damo loved all his children Thomas Macey summer Abigail’s Chloe Zack and Daniel and also his step children Aston Arron and vinnie

Now summer and Macey are left with no mum and dad and also Abi Zack and Daniel are left with no mum, dad and sister, the sudden passing of Damo has torn this families world apart yet again at a time where it’s supposed to be a happy time for people

Rachel now has to explain to vinnie at 5 years old that Damo has gone to heaven. Daniel at 14 years old who is still suffering from loosing his mum, sister and now his dad his whole world has been turned upside down

I’m asking you all to please let’s get together again to support this family and take the pressure off where ever we can and one of the ways we can do this is by raising funds to help with Damo’s funeral please donate whatever you can however little or large it all helps
