Football creates brotherhood by bringing players together through shared goals, experiences, and challenges. On September 27, 2025, Julian was walking in the crosswalk on Del Monte Avenue in Monterey and was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle sped away, leaving Julian significantly injured in the roadway. He suffered a broken right tibia/fibula, broken shoulder blade, sacral fractures, concussion, and had to undergo surgery for the dislocation of the sternoclavicular joint. Julian is expected to make a full recovery, but this will take time. As you know, insurance doesn’t cover all expenses for the hospitalization and treatments he will have to endure. This GoFundMe was created to help the family with these expenses as well as other expenses, such as traveling back and fourth from Salinas to San Jose.
