Kaitlyn Needs Your Help

Kaitlyn is a 17 year old who lived with her single dad; Ralph Maddox. Many of you know Ralph from Lifetime Fitness where he was a member for years and had so many friends.
Kaitlyn is getting ready to start her senior year in high school in Canton, MI. Her father was her sole care giver and the one she looked to for guidance. She relied on him to take care of her and be there for her. Kaitlyn didn't have a drivers license, a car or even a checkbook of her own.
Suddenly and tragically he passed away. We are waiting on toxicology reports, but preliminary says it was some type of heart failure.
Ralph was working when he passed. He normally texted her every day in the mornings when she got up... to make sure she got up, and to say good morning. Kaitlyn knew something was wrong when he didnt text her Wednesday, and she couldn't get ahold of him during the day. Because his job required him to work odd hours, it was normal not to see him for a day or so, but no contact from him was highly un-usual. With the help of some friends and the Novi Police we traced him and found his body in his work vechicle in Novi on Thursday August 27th around noon.
Kaitlyn is crushed and is currently residing with and being looked after by long time family friends.
There was no will or trust and when Ralph passed, Kaitlyn lost everything. She is living with friends, and depending on them to get her through it. Until the estate passes through probate, she has no means of income, and could use help for basic needs.
We would like her to live this time of her life, as much as possible, like a normal teenager and have the possibility of going to college. Ralph's sister lives in Chicago and his parents spend much of thier time in Florida. Kaitlyn would like to stay in Canton and finish out her Senior year of high school there.
Kaitlyn is a good student and loves working out; yoga, kickboxing, etc. All things she did with her dad.
She is in the process of getting her drivers license and would like to start a part time job.
