Road To Recovery for Shawn Squires to walk again

Shaws feet wrapped up as he suffered 4 Degree burns with 3rd Degree

Last Saturday my nephew Shawn Squires was in a bad garage fire. Shawn’s lucky to be alive Today. As from the photos shown, the Garage was ignited as Shawn was inside.

Shawn servered burns to his both of his legs including his feet. Shawn has 3rd degree burns from the knee down on both legs.

Shawn was trapped inside and if it wasn’t for a couple brave neighbours Shawn wouldn’t have made it out

Shawn was great-full to have had these people pass at the right time. Shawn was transported to the Hospital by Ambulance and currently will have a long road of rehabilitation and have to learn to walk again

Shawn lost his car in a matter of minutes and along with his phone and lots of personal belongings as these were only material items and wasn’t the worst outcome

Shawn has no way of reaching out to all of his friends snd family you may notice his abstinence from social medial and other means.

He just would like to thank everyone who was there on site and to family & friends for all reaching out to him. He will Will be in touch with you all again

His cell was lost through the fire along with clothing and his car

for anyone who knows Shawn, He just wanted to say

“ See yah in the Movies “

it will be a long road for Shawn , health wise and finding mobility again

we are thankful for all your concerns and best wishes past along

we hope to have him a cell phone so he can be in touch

any help would be going towards having him a television in his room and a phone along side of him

UPDATE ON SHAWN

hes been going through daily physiotherapy

trying to get his legs moving and keeping his toes and ankles moving

shawn hasn’t got out of bed since the fire

he said the pain is out of this world

hes up all night in pain tossing and turning

when he falls asleep he starts yelling get the fire off him, he’s fire and wakes up soaked

within the next two days Shawn will be heading for surgery to have skin graphs done

shawn is not In the best of states right now

as learns everything over

the pain isn’t easy to cope with

but Shawn is hanging in there
