Mark 'Harry' Christensen

Hi, Mick Fogg and Mark Watson Here. As most of you know we unexpectedly lost our third Muskateer 'Harry' last weekend.

'Harry' was an amazing soul with a kind heart and unique personality. The outpouring of tributes is a testament to a man who touched the lives of so many people. He was a genuine human being, reliable, knowledgeable, likeable, funny, kind, and quirky. All attributes that went together to create his unique personality and style. From running around the Kimberley escarpment in bare feet to his outlandish attire at formal nights onboard ships, we all have fond memories of 'Harry.' He was a legend in the Expedition Industry, an integral part of Australia's Kimberley wilderness, a region he loved.

Harry's unexpected passing has left an enormous hole in the lives of so many of us, none more so than his loving wife Helen. Harry and Helen met in Pontianak, Borneo whilst he was working on Orion II in 2011. To see Harry find true love was such a rewarding experience for us.

As Harry's passing was so unexpected there were no plans in place and no safety net. Times had become difficult due to the downturn in the tourism industry as a result of CoVID.

We are seeking support from Harry's friends and colleagues to assist Helen with the unexpected costs she now faces. Harry was always willing to help anyone who asked, now it's our turn to return the favour and show support for his family
