Saving Raven

My Scottish Terrier “Raven” was bit twice by a rattlesnake. She is fighting for her life at the Foothills Animal Hospital in Yuma, AZ. Raven is one of the worst cases of rattlesnake bite they have ever seen.
Update on Raven, two days after the rattlesnake bite. She is in bad condition, after this mornings phone call from the Vet. We went to the Veterinarian Hospital with the idea to have her euthanized. The venom is back in her system, and her bite wounds are bleeding in her face and inside her mouth. Which is the tissue dying off, that will later take intense wound care, for months ahead. Her face is so swollen that her eyes are shut off. She is up and drinking water, and I hand
fed her a whole can of chicken. We took her for a walk, she walked well and strong and did her business. She is alert with every word we say. How can you euthanize her?
So we opted for another round of anti venom injection and to give her another day in intensive care $3,100. for one day, but she’s worth it. We are at $12,401. in veterinarian hospital bills intensive care.
Day 3 after rattlesnake bite. Raven had a third dose of anti venom, and her blood work is better, the swelling has gone down a bit, and she’s eating and drinking in her own. Raven is not out of the woods, as her skin on her face and jaw is oozing blood and dying off. She will need intensive wound care and antibiotics when she is released from the hospital. Please help Raven to get the continued care she needs.
