Timothy Gierczic was on his way home from work, but he never made it there. He has been bandaged up and has undergone three surgeries in a hospital bed at University Medical Center Trauma  for more 10 days. There was no saving his leg. He had to have his leg amputated above the knee,  This money will be going toward additional expenses for his prosthetic leg so he can feel as close to normal as he can
