My stepfather has fought a long hard battle against cancer. He was given 6 months to live and it's now been 2.5 years! His wife of 18 years, my mother, has been right by his side through it all. He has been fighting through the last few days of his life but as the strong man he is, he hasn't given up! As his journey comes to an end my mothers journey has to continue. We are very grateful that almost all of his medical bills are covered. But my mother literally has to start her life from scratch at 63 years old. She has never accepted a dime from anyone in her life but I would like to raise a little money to help her get by as she begins the healing process of losing her beloved husband, moving from their current house, and finding a new career.
