Hi, my name is Michelle, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my family. My brother, Danie, is currently on comfort care and nearing the end of his battle for life. Watching someone you love fade away is something you can never truly prepare for — and my dad, Tony, has been by his side every single day, refusing to leave him alone during this difficult time.

Because of Danie’s condition, my dad has had to stop working to be his full-time caregiver. He’s doing what any loving father would do — choosing time, love, and presence over everything else — but that choice has come with a heavy financial burden. Without income, the bills are piling up, and the stress of trying to stay afloat is taking a toll on him while he’s already dealing with heartbreak.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial pressure so my dad can focus entirely on Danie during his final days. Every donation — big or small — will go toward rent, utilities, food, and basic living expenses while he continues to care for his son.
