West Highland Way
Tax deductible
This October, I'll be walking all 96 miles of the West Highland Way. The hike runs from north of Glasgow to Fort William, Scotland. While the hike started as a way to honor my parents, I'm also using the walk as an opportunity to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.
The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. A full 79% of all funds donated to the Alzheimer's Association go directly to care, support, awareness, research and advocacy. This organization personally means a lot to me as my Mom, Grandpa and Aunt Marlene all faced this debilitating disease.
If you choose to support my walk with a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, you can either give a flat donation or sponsor me per mile walked. Some easy math to get you started: $1/mi = $96, $.50/mi = $48 or even $1.50/mi = $144!
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
