Bandits surgery

Hi, my name is Adam, I am fundraising to raise some money to pay for my cat’s surgery which he desperately needs in order to walk again.

Bandit was a rescue who was found alongside his mother and 3 siblings at 1 week old in an alleyway, him and his siblings were half dead when they found, and from the amazing work of his initial rescuers was able to make a full recovery. I knew I had to adopt him and give him the best life he could possibly have after such a rough start.

Fast forward 8 months and he is such a sweet, playful and admittedly naughty boy, however despite his occasional naughtiness I love him with all my heart and it kills me to see him like this. His condition is a very rare (in cats) genetic condition which affects his knee joints, the ridge in his knee is not deep enough which causes his knee cap to pop out of place, (in both knees) this makes it extremely difficult and painful for him to walk/move around. It’s heartbreaking seeing my once playful energetic boy laying around constantly crying in yelping in pain.

He really needs the surgery as it is really impacting his quality of life, he is a shell of himself, I wouldn’t normally ask however I need to have an answer before May and I’m running out of options to help him, the surgery is estimated to be around £3500 and given the very short time frame the panic and fears of the worse are starting to set in. I know my boy and I would be so grateful for any generosity
