A sweet stray dog who was abandoned by construction workers has been hit by a car and now has a broken leg. Before her injury, she would wait outside my door every morning, knowing I’d feed her. She and two other strays would often walk with my 6-year-old daughter and me to the park. We bought them toys from Dollar Tree and treats from Haskell Feed Store, playing and caring for them the best we could.

Since her injury, I’ve opened up my backyard to give her a safe space to recover. She’s never been inside my home, but I couldn't leave her suffering. I reached out to 12 rescues, posted on Facebook for weeks, and contacted both Tulare and Visalia animal control — but was told she’d be euthanized due to lack of resources.

Now, I’m turning to GoFundMe in hopes that we can raise enough to cover her vet bills and get her the care she needs. I’m also willing to foster her through recovery and help her find a forever home.

She’s a young, spunky pup with a heart of gold who deserves a chance at life. Please help if you can — every dollar makes a difference.
