My Daughter Jessica is 28 years old with an adorable family, she has a daughter who is 3 years old and a wonderful fiance who has been a godsend for her. When Jessica was 23 years old she had a stroke and a brain bleed caused by a large clot that occludes four of the major veins in her brain. Since then she has consistantly struggled with increased intracranial pressure. This causes her to get bad headaches, nausea, and other nuerological syptoms. Recently she had to have a spinal tap to relieve the pressure on her brain. She is on lifelong bloodthinners as well as medication to help keep the pressure off her brain to prevent her from being in a life threatening situation. She will have to have surgery to put a brain stent in if she can't keep the pressure down. We are trying to raise money for an adjustable bed to relieve the head pressure while Jessica sleeps. Having an adjustable bed for her would not only avoid surgery but would change her life so that she can live daily with less horable headaches and other symptoms and so she can be the mom and wife she longs to be!!
