I want to take the lessons I have learned, from the experiences that I have had, to help support those going through similar situations in their lives.
TAKE CONTROL is a book of lessons, a book of failures and a story where I hit rock bottom twice and learned lessons from every stage. It began with a personal break down after losing my brother to suicide in 2008 and was followed by a professional and financial break down in 2013 after losing my career due to poor choices and bad decisions.
I am shedding light on my own experiences in hope that they will inspire those who find themselves treading similar paths - this is the message I would want to send my 27 year old self.
I want people to know that it doesn't need to be the end of the road. Instead, it can be the beginning to a profound new journey of self examination, discovery of a new purpose and way of life allowing them to gain a greater level of fulfilment, in the same way I have been able to do.
I am looking to raise $10,000 to publish the book and distribute it.
10% of all funds raised and sales proceeds will be donated to the Speak Up, Stay Chatty Foundation in Tasmania.
