Hello, thanks for checking out this fundrsiser (warning, some pictures below might be disturbing).

Dakota is 2 1/2 years old, we adopted him last September from a shelter & he has been an amazing dog.....we are not ready for him to go. He absolutely loves people, other dogs, has a funny personality & is very playful. Dakota was just diagnosed with Acute Hemorrhagic Diarrhea Syndrome Link & has been in a speciality vet clinic since Saturday morning September 30th. It has a rapid onset & is progressing aggressively. The 1st bill we received was $3,900 for 36 hours of care, but now he needs more help. The second bill is for another $3,100 which will cover him until October 3rd to try & get him healed & back home. The doctor's are not sure how much longer he will need to be hospitalized & we are taking it day by day. If we receive more than Dakota needs, the remainder will be donated to County of San Diego Animal Services in Carlsbad, California to help support our local shelter. Myself, my wife & 2 teenage daughters would be forever grateful for your support. I've included some of the bills below but are missing a few.
