On April 12, 2024, Mickaëlla Nugent (Micka) and Sensei Lyman Good were involved in a serious car accident in Harriman, New York. She was rushed to the Garnet Medical Center in Middletown, New York in critical condition where doctors scrambled to save her life. She eventually was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York where a lifesaving surgery was performed.

On May 10, Micka was moved to a 24 hour rehabilitation facility where she remains in her current state but is still undergoing therapy nonetheless. For those who know Micka, she is a warrior and never stops fighting. She has exceeded the expectations of her doctors and continues to progress with each day.

Although this is positive progress, it will still require more time that continues to incur insurmountable financial costs by the day.

Prior to her time as a member of the Tiger Schulmann's Family, Micka was enlisted in the Marine Corps and rose to the rank of Sergeant. She specialized as a Military Police officer and later became a Special Reaction Team (SRT) leader. Micka’s Marine Corps experience instilled in her the values of discipline and steadfast dedication, which she has carried into her post-military career.

It was with these values of discipline and steadfast dedication that Micka and Lyman tirelessly committed themselves to helping people overcome mental health struggles such as post traumatic stress disorder, suicide, and trauma. It was an important lifelong mission that they embarked on together.

This fund raiser has been organized to help with the financial burden of the ongoing medical bills for Micka and Lyman when she returns home to their lives together, along with their three dogs, and cat.

In addition to Lyman’s love and commitment to Micka, it will be with your love and support that Micka will be able to recover fully and completely. It is with your love and support that they will together be able return to and continue their important work of helping others heal, over come mental health disabilities and trauma, through love, martial arts, and mental health awareness.

Thank you all for your love and support.
