The Tasting Room

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have been forced to close The Tasting Room restaurant in downtown Frederick, MD until further notice. All our staff and their families are healthy and safe. This was a immensely difficult decision for us to make. There were many contributing factors, but ultimately we have to put our employees and customers health and safety first. After seeing  the number of cases grow in our community, we feel social distancing and hunkering down is the most responsible thing to do.

We understand the hardship of families across the country during this crisis and wish everyone health and safety. Therefore, we are humbly asking for support for our TR family. Currently there are 42 dedicated staff members who need any and all help we can provide them. All contributions will be given directly to our staff. We did everything in our power to pay all of our staff their normal wage and keep fighting for our community and our team, but as a new business owner with little working capital and diminishing sales we can no longer afford to stay open. We fought hard and are very proud of each decision we've made.

It feels strange to ask our community to donate money when we are all struggling. In response to your continued efforts to ask how you can help we decided to create a Go Fund Me. We cannot thank you enough for your support over the last twenty years, especially over the last two weeks. We will come back stronger than ever. Thank you Frederick. See you soon.
