Dear Family & Friends,
Please join me in my coming adventure and be a part of the journey! All of you know my passion for food. I have worked as a chef for the past 16 years and wouldn’t have it any other way. I have overcome a lot in the past few years, changing my way of life, living as a sober man, and reaching for my dreams. Now I need your help as I stretch my hand out to make the dream a reality.
With the support of my partner, I plan to open my own stand at a farmer’s market in Portland, Oregon. We intend to move there from Los Angeles no later than next spring. You would help me fund my move and the setup of my business. And although a stand at a farmer’s market may sound small, I have big goals. This will be a way to get my name out there, establish myself, and focus on creating healthy, quality food that people will love to eat. Oregon is known for having the freshest seasonal ingredients, and I plan to leverage that bounty.
Today I am asking you to help me reach $15,000. Though it may sound like a lot, every little bit will help get me there. This sum includes moving expenses and expenses related to starting a business from scratch, which is never cheap. But I believe it is doable. I will be saving my butt off and will be putting every last dime I have towards this cause.
