My father, and amazing man who knows it all and can do it all, is in need of his friends help and support.
My father, Tom Owens, drove himself to the emergency room on the morning of February 25th , 2017 he was in excruciating pain. The doctors had diagnosed him with pancreatitis endused by gallstones passing through his pancreas. They kept my dad for about 5 days, and then sent him home. Once home he started to contract extremely high fevers and the pain grew even worse than before. He once again drove himself back to the emergency room. They monitored him again for the next week, and decided continue with the gall bladder removal surgery in hopes of a faster recover from his pancreatitis. He seemed to be getting better after his surgery and discharge him 2 days later. A week goes by and my father starts to get more and more weak. He couldn't eat or do anything for an extended amount of time. His fevers returned and his heart rate became rapid. I forced him into the car and emitted him once again into the hospital, where he is still now. His pancreas is going into necrosis and he is struggling to fight off this infection. My family and I are doing the best we can to sort out his billing and life so he can just focus on healing. He can use a all the support he can get right now.
