My daughter Kimberly has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. On December 12, 2019 she had a double mastectomy and they found cancer in her lymph nodes. Kimberly is a Special Education teacher in Florida and did not receive any pay while recovering from the surgery. She’s also used up all of her sick days.  Drs. at Moffitt Cancer Hospital in Tampa informed her that she needs Chemo which will take about 16 weeks to administer followed up by 6 weeks of radiation.

We don’t yet know what kind of toll this will take on her body.  If she gets sick from these treatments right now she feels she HAS TO work because she doesn’t have any sick days left and the state of Florida doesn't provide short term disability insurance for teachers so she wouldn’t have any income coming in. Kimberly is a single Mom who works hard to provide for herself and my beautiful granddaughter Dani. Needless to say the financial burden is great. We are hoping to raise some money to ease the financial burden she is facing.

I'm praying with all my heart that my Kimberly stays as strong as she is now.  I raised a strong daughter who has now become a Warrior and WILL beat this  CANCER.
