Funeral cost
We write this today with the heaviest of hearts. Alicia Veeter was many things to many people; she was a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend.
Beyond being so important to the people whose lives she was a part of she also battled many of her own demons. Late last night, on November the eleventh, those demons got the best of her.
No one anticipated this or was prepared for this and along with the overwhelming grief and shock comes the ever large expenses.
That is why we have created this GoFundMe page. We are trying to raise money to help cover the funeral cost in order to give Alicia a proper farewell from this life and to help support her family and two children, Mila and Brock, as they are now adjusting to life without Alicia in it. We are so grateful for any contribution that you can make to help our family at this time but. if A financial donation is not something you are currently capable of, we are also crying out for further education of the general public about how to help those suffering with mental illness or drug addiction. A local resource that we are wanting to point people towards is posted below.
If you yourself are struggling with addiction, Keep fighting. You’re worth more than you think. That one last time may truly be your last. Alicia never imagined that this would have been the last choice she ever made.
There are so many maybes and what if’s that go through our minds when it comes to Alicia’s death. Hopefully this information may prevent someone else from experiencing what our family is going through.
Please, help donate if you can, we would forever be grateful for your kindness.
