Helping Hand For Holly

Hello,

My name is Katrina, and I am reaching out to ask for a little financial assistance for such a kind soul. Holly is a friend of mine and a fellow co-worker at our local Non-Profit Domestic Violence Shelter. She is such a pleasant and selfless person. No matter what good or bad circumstances in life that she faces, she always remains hopeful, keeps a smile on her face, and her faith in God remains strong. I pray to one day have the strong faith she has.

Holly previously had a heart transplant and has also fought cancer and beat it. A few months back, she received the news that her cancer had returned, and it has begun to spread despite her treatment efforts. Regardless of the outcome of everything, Holly stays smiling and telling us all not to worry and that God has her no matter what.

One of the things that Holly has always wanted to do is to go to Alaska or on an Alaskan cruise to see the Northern Lights from there while she is able to comfortably enjoy the trip with someone to help her on the trip. Due to treatments and her current condition, she has had some difficulty breathing and unwanted days off from work. We would like to raise money to supply her with some extra funds to help with expenses and/or give her the ability to take that trip that she has always wanted to take. I'm a firm believer that a little bit of selflessness, even during times of the unknown, can make all the difference in a person's story.
