On August 13,2015 Sarah Thomas was life flighted from Iowa Methodists to University of Iowa Hospitals for a ruptured brain aneurysm. She underwent 6 hours of brain surgery and will remain in the ICU for a minimum of 2 weeks, and probably months of recovery after that. Sarah is a registered nurse  and a mother to 1 biological child and 1 unbiological child. She has spent her whole career helping others and now she could use some help herself. She is a very proud person who came from nothing and made something and has never asked for a handout in her life....but as her 14 year friend and 12 year partner I'm asking for your help in giving a hand up.  She is going to acquire medical bills and lost work revenue that will be almost impossible to pay.
