Help get Raven back on her feet
Hey all,
My name is Eriel Deranger and I am a committed community member that always tries to do what’s right. Right now I’m asking for some help from you all. My little sister Raven was recently diagnosed with Covid19 and is in the hospital in Kelowna, BC. All of our family lives in either Alberta or Saskatchewan. I am in Edmonton, Ab and am planning on travel to B.C. to offer supports on the ground - this will include cleaning her apartment while she is in the hospital and providing mental health and family support while she recovers in hospital. Our mental health is super important when we are sick and having family close is an important part of this.
In addition to needing family close by, Raven is going to need financial support once she is released from the hospital. She has lost wages due to her illness and hospitalization. Raven is a hard working and loving sister and auntie who is always striving to follow her dreams. She has two jobs and was in the midst of looking for a new roommate. Her hospitalization has not only meant lost hours of employment but also lost time in securing a new roommate.
I am trying to raise funds for myself to get out to Kelowna in my RV and to help cover her lost wages and extra expenses without a new roommate. We don’t know how long her recovery will be so anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Mussi Cho,
Eriel
