I was diagnosed last Wednesday with stage 4 throat cancer. It is inoperable because the tumor is, in the doc's words, massive. It has metastasized to my lymph nodes on the left side and to my right lung. The treatment would be full-blown radiation and chemo at the same time, basically just to prolong my life.
I am currently living in my truck and have no one to help me through this. I have applied for Medicaid, but it's still pending, meaning I can't even get in to see the oncologist to discuss treatment vs. living till I die without treatment. I can't even afford the meds they prescribed for me: steroids, antibiotics, and pain meds.
I'm not the type to ever have asked anyone for anything, but I have no choice now. Even if I don't do treatment, I'll need meds and a way to get through each day till I'm gone. If you can help, I would be very grateful. Not sure how I'm going to get through this alone and in my truck, but I'm not giving up yet. Please help if you can. God bless, praying for miraculous healing.
