Paula and Scotty just got married in November 2018, eager to begin their lives together. Scotty, a pilot in the United States Air Force, and Paula, a lover of all animals, bought and moved into their dream home near Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska along with their furry family. They built a beautiful barn on their property and put in much research, time, and hard work to make it the perfect place for their animals. The rising waters of March's catastrophic Midwest flood engulfed their home, barn, and land. Their barn is completely underwater, as is most of their two-story house. Luckily, the couple and their three horses, mule, dog, and house cat were able to evacuate in time. Three barn kitties did not make it.

Paula and Scotty are incredibly selfless and kind people. They have lost so much, yet have continued to give to others, coordinating rescues and other assistance in their community. Now is the time to help our friends in need. Paula and Scotty will not be able to live in their home until their property is rebuilt and repaired, and they will have to board their horses during that time as well.
