Road To Justice For Christy Lee Giles Family $$$$

Help us to travel back and forth from Birmingham, Al to Los Angeles, Ca. We are Christy Giles’s parents- Leslie Wayne and Dusty Giles. Christy was our baby, youngest of 3 girls. On November 13, 2021 our daughter was killed and thrown on a sidewalk in front of Culver City Hospital’s ER- she was DOA! 2 hours later her friend she was last seen with was done the same way, but dumps out a a separate Hospital’s ER-where she died of being Brain dead and multi system organ failures. The 3 men who were the suspects were known almost immediately- it took about 4 months after their deaths and the West bureau sex crime division felt like they had amplo evidence to charge these men with murder and attempted murder. However the DA’s office disagreed and let ALL 3 men walk on Christy and Hilda’s cases and did not press charges- however the DA did press charges on David Pearce, on 4 counts of Rape- from women who came forward after the publicity of Christy and Hilda’s case. We the family was so DISTRAUGHT and couldn’t understand why? Now 8 months after her death we are been told warrants for arrest have been issued and arraignment hearing will be on July 11. YES! Her mom and dad will be present- but we are learning quickly we need help covering out travel expenses to cover flights, hotel, food, and ground travel while in LA. This upcoming Arraignment hearing, flight and hotel (cheapest I could find) for my husband and myself was $2900.00 alone. We still don’t have a total figure until we see how much food and ground transportation cost while we are there. We are told that they’re going to be several hearings and the main preliminary hearing is one that we definitely need to go. There will be other times just be procedural hearings that we will not make the trip for them. However, once the actual trial starts for the court if this goes to trial and no plea deals made-there’s no telling how many days the court hearing will go on and waiting for a verdict and stay through sentencing and hopefully get to read impact statements— We have no idea how much this will cost… All we know with very little warning- the best I could buy- as cheaply as I could- and still expecting more expensive food/ground travel- it’s currently up to $2900.00. I, Dusty Gilles, am a disabled retired RN. Her father, Leslie Wayne Giles, is a painter. We are extremely middle class- time off work for my husband is loss of income- we are saving as much as we possibly can- but DESPERATELY NEEDED HELP- AFFORDING TO BE AT THE COURT HEARING/TRIAL … and all other important meetings that require our presents stand and fight for justice for our daughter!
