Because if you KNOW Heidi, well, enough said.

If you don't know Heidi, then please allow me to tell you why it would be a worthy use of your goodwill, as well as being most appreciated and deserved.

If you were to have any random interaction with Heidi out in the world, you'd likely remember it.

Have a second one and you'd probably have a new friend.

Even throughout her nearly ten-year difficult battle with Stage 4 Rectal Cancer, Heidi has always put others first. If you already know Heidi, you can attest to the fact that while she has so many wonderful qualities, the top among them for sure must be her ability to make everyone feel welcome, comfortable, at ease and truly INCLUDED in whatever is going on.

She exudes joy, love, kindness, hope, and optimism in the face of so much adversity and often does it with a big smile and a dose of shared laughter. If you know Heidi as a friend, well then, you are practically family.

Heidi has always found ways, consistently throughout her life, to pay her blessings forward to others.

Now it's our chance to do the same.

Despite having good medical insurance, there are ever mounting bills for uncovered or denied medical costs, co-pays, and home health equipment, along with gas, tolls, and other travel expenses for her treatments.

In addition, now that Heidi is receiving palliative care, there will be more expenses that insurance does not cover.
