Suicide Prevention

On average, in Australia alone we lose 8 people to suicide daily. I too became close to being apart of these statistics. I am incredibly fortunate to have been able to receive the help I needed and it’s time that we all continually work to raise awareness so others know that they to can receive the help they need and that ultimately; tough times do pass.
On the 21st January 2023 I’ll be putting myself through an ultimate challenge to raise some much needed awareness to this cause very close to my heart in suicide prevention with all funds raised going towards SPAN- Suicide Prevention Awareness Network.
I thoughtfully put together a challenge that will push me to my absolute limits both mentally and physically. I expect to break down on multiple occasions, my body will break, my mind will deteriorate but the challenges I will face within the 24 hours is only minor compared to what those suffering from this deadly disease go through daily.
In a 24 hour period, I will aim to complete:
1000 calories on a skierg machine
1000 push-ups
200 pull ups
Run a half marathon
3.9km Swim
100km bike ride
