Several weeks back we asked everyone... what can we do as a community, with "continuity", that bridges pain to love at home, and in our neighborhoods, to bring peace to all. We have chosen to raise awereness and funds for a social impact organization called MY BLOCK MY HOOD MY CITY (MBMHMC)
MBMHMC's mission is to help teenagers overcome the poverty and isolation they face, boosting educational attainment and opening them to opportunities that make a difference in their lives. One of the many ways they achieve this is through their Explorer's Program, exposing them to possibilities beyond their own communities. Many of these children have never even left their neighborhood, so these new experiences can be life changing.
Please join us Thursday at 5:30pm CST as we unite together in support of My Block My Hood My City and their mission to bring change to Chicago's under-resourced neighborhoods. Thank you in advance for your donations and let's be a part of this change together.
