Hi my name is Tricia And I am raising money for medical and personal Expenses. I got sick back in October and things went completely down hill from there. It all started with having Wrist pain and then it went up to my arms. It started to progress and go to other parts of my body. Next it was my legs and feet. I went to the hospital a few times and was admitted but got to go home with a Walker. The Walker only lasted 2 days and I found myself in the floor not able to get up. I was even unable to crawl, resulting in calling for help multiple times. I could no longer move my legs and I was not able to walk. I couldn't move my arms and I could not work the trunk of my body so I could not turn. I spent 40 days in the hospital having tests done and seeing what was wrong. I still have no diagnosis, just that I have severe neuropathy and a severe vitamin deficiency. After 40 days they sent me to a nursing home and that is where I am now. I am doing physical and occupational therapy. I also have a gallbladder drain because there is something wrong with my Gall bladder I'm just not sure what it is yet. (11/1/24 update- I got the drain removed!! I am still unable to stand or walk. The neuropathy is still extremely painful and causes burning through my body, especially my feet and legs! The doctor told me to try some cooling cream or gel like biofreeze but again, I have no money to buy anything like that. My hair is growing back. I did recently see a new neurologist and he says he thinks this is autoimmune related and is sending me to WashU for more testing. I need an MRI of my brain and spine. Hopefully I get some kind of answer! I am asking for help to pay for small medical expenses and my storage unit as I lost my place through this situation so my things have to be stored and I don't want to lose them. I appreciate any help and support I get.
