Help Carlos beat cancer! Post-Surgery Care!

Hi! My name is Jayce, and I would prefer not to have to resort to this, but sadly, we're out of options and need to raise funds to pay the vet bills for our cat Carlos, who has rapidly lost weight in the last two weeks. After two check-ins with the vet, a blood analysis, x-ray and ultrasound, we found out he has a malignant tumor in his abdomen, near his intestine.

Carlos came to us 10 years ago, after we took in his pregnant mom who needed a new home. We helped raise him from a tiny ball of fur into a handsome, if slightly heavy but wonderfully friendly and active cat. Over these 10 years, he's provided us with much love, purrs and been there through really rough times. Through burnout, near homelessness and chronic health issues, he has been a source of joy and inspiration to go on. Now that he needs us, we are struggling to help- but we refuse to just give up on him.

How will Funds be used?

To cover current and future medical costs for his treatments.

So far, costs are as follows:

178€ for injections, diagnosis and blood lab analysis

119€ for X-Rays and Ultrasound

854€ for the gut surgery (removal of sticky tumor mass as well as the junction of small and large intestine stuck on the mass)

Carlos has survived the surgery, but he's still not out of danger. Still, we want to keep going for as long as the vet says he has a fighting chance and isn't suffering. He will need a few more check-ups in the coming days, and close monitoring. We will update the campaign with any new developments!
