Chris’s Fight

Hi everyone! As most of you know my mom    was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal cancer during this crazy pandemic. Our family was in complete shock as we just lost my grandmother (her mom) July 2019 to cancer. My mom has always been a pretty healthy person and it took us all by complete surprise. You never think it will or could happen to your parents. My mom is currently undergoing chemo and she will start radiation soon after that. She will also have surgery and depending on if the cancer goes away completely, she may have to have more chemo. The good news is the cancer is shrinking but my mom has a long road ahead of her. We all know how costly cancer treatment is. It doesn’t matter how good of insurance coverage you have. My mom is still working from home (for now) some days she can’t get out of bed because of how awful she feels and has to call out. In the near future she will most likely have to stop working against her will. Bills will be adding up very quickly. Those of you who know my mom and have encountered know how great she is. She is a happy, caring, amazing mom and grandma. She would do anything for anyone and of course loves her dogs! I’m asking for any help you can give to help my parents with medical bills and for a wig/ head wraps. If you can help at all or even just share it would be so greatly appreciated.
