76 yr old lyft driver stabbed multiple times

Hello. James evans is my father and is a veteran. 

On March 17, 2023 James was picking up a rider from Detroit to drop off in Westland and he was violently stabbed multiple times in the neck and hands. He was rushed to the hospital and is under going treatment for his injuries, which include severe lacerations and other trauma. 

James is a dedicated lyft and Uber driver despite his age and health challenges. He does so because he is sole provider for his household and needs help supporting his wife and take care of his home. As a veteran James has served our country and his community, and now needs our help.
