I’ve been in a daze of emotional turmoil and depression since I was hit with the news that I will have to have surgery to remove my toe due to a doctors mistake. Over the past 5-6 months I have not been myself and now I feel more alone and helpless than ever. I have never asked for help and I have found that it is the hardest thing to do ever. I have always been able to snap out of any situation that has happened any my life but, I am not sure how to deal with this situation.

Many people are just trying to survive and I’ve found myself in the same place as they are.

All my life I have been there for so many people and I have never asked for anything in return. But as I sit here trying to figure out how to get better and ahead it baffles me that I can’t think of anyone that I could possibly have the courage to ask for help. It’s like the world has become more about bashing people and their situations instead of trying to make a situation better for somebody who they think and say they have feelings for.

Even though I don’t know what to do, I have gotten up the courage to reach out for therapeutic help from a therapist. I’m a little nervous about our first meeting that is scheduled for Friday. Putting this feeling sharing post on here is causing me anxiety but if you don’t let people know how you’re feeling then they will never know. I just don’t want to be judged or anything. Life has a way of making things worse than you could ever imagine.
