Cody Strong

Hello, all.

 

As we all have, at times in life we hit a slight speed bump. Unfortunately, our family has hit one of those with Cody Hines. A beloved husband, father, son, grandson, friend, nephew and cousin has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

At 26 years of age, dealing with this type of experience with his new wife Lexee (Of 18 months) and son Laythe (8 months) is far from fair. However, Cody is not your normal guy. Wise beyond his years, loyal and most importantly for this experience…strong!

 

Today, one of the oncologists told Cody that he could not believe someone with so much cancer could look so healthy or act as in good spirits as he does.

 

Given the situation and current diagnosis, we are encouraged about his ability to beat this. It will be a long and difficult road, but we all know he is up for it. As friends and family, that’s where we come in.

 

Cancer is cruel and has affected most of us in one way or another. It’s also a disease that, thanks to medical advances, is beatable but expensive. Any financial contribution, no matter how big or how small, to assist in the medical bills would be greatly appreciated.

 

Know that while we don’t understand Gods plan, He does have one that’s perfect. He uses His people to build it and make the world stand in awe. This Cowboy has it….let’s just give him a boost in anyway we can, financially or otherwise.
