To all the Prayer Warriors out there we need all the prayers we can get for Ellie. Ellie is a 13 year old little girl that should have a lot of life ahead of her but on September 12th of 2022 she was diagnosed with stage 4 Ewing Sarcoma. Of all the childhood cancers she had to get one of the worst kinds possible. She fought a long 11 months of chemo and radiation and by January of 2024 they said she was in remission. We were over the moon until she had to repeat her scans at the end of March, where we found out she relapsed and had 6 new tumors throughout her lungs. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to do at that point so she took some time to decide and ultimately she decided to fight. She started chemo back up on May 21, 2024, and to get a better idea, since it had already been 2 months since her last scan, they repeated the CT again. This time the biggest of the tumors has more than doubled in size to the size of a golf ball and the quantity of tumors has more than tripled. They didn’t even bother to count them all and said they would base any progress the chemo makes on the golf ball sized tumor. After 4 days of chemo in the hospital Ellie decided she was done and decided not to finish that round of chemo and went home. Her palliative care doctor said that we need to get things in order and work on her “Bucket List”! This is where we need all the help we can get. Ellie wants to travel and see as much as she can. She wants to see the Grand Canyon, Disneyland, the Golden Gate Bridge, The Redwood Forest, the Vegas Strip (and the BlueMan Group while there if we can) the Space Needle and Glacier National park. That’s just the start of it but more than anything I want to be able to make this happen for her. The best idea I could come up with is renting an RV and taking a road trip. She is too weak to travel by plane or cooped up in a car for hours on end. This is where all of you come in to play. The prayers are huge. We NEED a miracle for my daughter. God is our only hope at this point. Next, I have been a stay at home mom for the past 15 years so my funds are extremely limited. I personally have no way to make this trip happen without asking for help and it’s devastating that it has come to this point. If you find it in your heart to help we will be forever grateful.
