Bonnie unexpectedly got sick around January 19th. Thinking it was the common cold or flu she put herself to bed to rest. Her symptoms of joint pain and swelling, high fever and weakness progressed as the days went on. A valiant trip to urgent care resulted in a flu swab (later to be negative) and some ibuprofen was all that was done. She proceeded to lay in bed for another 4 days until she told her husband “I’m scared”.  The ambulance got her to the hospital where she was put on a ventilator to help her breath.  Bonnie has contracted streptococcus pneumonia and it is severe and she is septic! This is the type of pneumonia you here that kills people. Bonnie has been in the ICU for 8 days now. Her poor body has been on every drug to keep her heart, lungs and kidney from failing. She’s been on too many antibiotics to count. She continues to be on the ventilator for support!
Bonnie is also a fighter!! She’s on the battle field right now and she will win this war to live. When she comes home she will enter into a new fight. One where she won’t be able to work and earn money to pay her everyday life bills. She will need help!! Please help a little if you can. If you can’t help with monetary means please keep your Love and prayers flowing towards her.
