Two years ago, my wife Hanna and I received terrifying news. that she had precancerous tissue throughout her abdomen, and that if it wasn't removed then it would become cancerous. So she went in for a surgery that we thought would help improve her health. Instead, since then, she has been facing debilitating complications that have dramatically changed her life. After two years(as of the last check up) she remains cancer-free(thank the lord). But, due to complications from the surgery, what began as a hopeful step forward has left her unable to stand or walk for long periods of time. Everyday tasks that most people take for granted—grocery shopping, going for a walk, even standing in the kitchen—have become overwhelming challenges.
Despite her strength and determination, and many trips to the doctor, Hanna’s condition hasn't improved. We are now at a point where she urgently needs a lightweight wheelchair to restore some independence and mobility. This will allow her to take part in daily activities without exhausting herself or putting her body through more pain.
In addition, we are seeking help to cover the costs of traveling to the Cleveland Clinic. This leading medical center offers the best hope for getting answers, proper diagnosis, and hopefully a path toward treatment and recovery. The expenses of travel, lodging, and medical visits add up quickly, and unfortunately, we cannot manage these costs alone.
We are turning to family, friends, and the kindness of strangers to help Hanna get the care she needs. Any contribution—big or small—will go directly toward purchasing her wheelchair and funding her trips to the Cleveland Clinic. Even if you cannot donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for supporting Hanna as we work toward giving her back the quality of life she deserves.
