Our beautiful friend and mother of three beautiful boys, Heidi, is now starting a fight for her life against a Brain Tumor.
On Sunday 2/28, Heidi was admitted to the hospital after complaints of a severe migraine, dizziness and nausea. After further testing, a CT scan confirmed she has a tumor on her brain. Prior to Sunday and over the course of the past several months, Heidi has undergone multiple tests in an attempt to find the source of her overall pain and discomfort.
Now that she has a diagnosis, her medical team will proceed with a series of surgeries that will hopefully result in the removal of the tumor.
She was given steroids to reduce the swelling surrounding the area of the tumor and underwent her first surgery on March 3rd. This surgery consisted of cauterizing the arteries in the surrounding area to help reduce the risk of bleeding during the next procedure which is scheduled for Friday March 5th. The focus for this surgery will be to take a biopsy of the tumor to confirm if it is benign or cancerous. Pending these results will determine how her team proceeds.
This is the beginning of a very long road ahead of her, anybody that knows Heidi knows that she is a wildly independent person that works hard to provide for herself, her boys, her family and friends, and hardly ever asks for help. We ask for you to pray and hope for the best outcome. We pray she will have a full recovery and be back to her normal crazy self. She will have to be out of work for several months during the healing process. The salon will be accepting donations made out in her name. As well as starting a GOFUNDME Page for her very soon that will be posted after surgery. If you would like to send her flowers she is at ORMC in Orlando and will be in the ICU Nero 4th floor after her surgery Friday morning. The surgery is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Friday March 5th it will take 6-8hours. We will all be praying and rooting for our girl.

Update: Heidi is doing well she is stable and in recovery! Her tumor was completely removed and negative from any cancer cells. She is awake, the doctors are asking her questions and she is answering them. Thank you for all the prayers, love and support!! She definitely ad her angels with her today!
