It is with a heavy heart that I have to share that Aimee succumbed to her injuries last night. She fought hard and was loved by so many. She will surely be missed. The world lost a beautiful light today.

Monday morning, on her way to work as a 2nd grade teacher, Aimee Andersen Dixon was in a head-on collision. She sustained multiple compound fractures in both legs, and broken bones in her ribs and wrist.
