My name is Angel, I'm a trans femme musician and artist who has poured my heart into my craft, my community, and just finished an exhausting but rewarding chapter of school. I’m reaching out during a difficult time. After a slow holiday season, I am facing the threat of eviction and urgently need help with car repairs. These challenges have made it hard to keep up with essential expenses, and I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat. Gigs dried up, savings vanished, and like clockwork, all the essential pieces of my life have begun to falter at once. I am facing a perfect storm:

Risk of eviction: I am couple months behind on my rent and have only barely been able to keep up the balance due enough to keep it under the eviction threshold. This upcoming rent payment I will be at threat of receiving a 3-day notice in a few days.

Car crisis: My car has been absolute necessity for getting to paid gigs, transporting gear, and getting to job interviews. It is currently overheating and leaking oil and coolant really badly and needs urgent attention.

Phone disconnected: My phone has been turned off. It is my lifeline for booking, coordinating with bands, and reaching clients.

Mounting Bills: This year of trying to balance freelance work with school on top of trying to keep my rent paid has made all of my utilities fall behind.

Your support will help me remain in my home and cover the urgent costs that have piled up. With a safe place to live and reliable transportation, I’ll be able to focus on the opportunities I’ve worked so hard for and regain my footing. Every bit of help brings me closer to stability and hope for the future.

I am so close to getting back on my feet. I just finished my degree, I have exciting new job opportunities, and bigger projects on the horizon. I just need this extra push from the community to keep me afloat and help me power through this.
