Hi, my name is Roman!

When I was 13 years old, I learned what top surgery was. Browsing YouTube, I came across a video of a trans man talking about his surgery. Although I didn’t have the words to describe my identity at the time, I wanted that more than anything in the world. I felt hopeless at the time, since I knew it’d be a long time until I could get it. Still, I told myself that I would one day.

After becoming an adult, I came out to the world, started testosterone, and legally changed my name and gender. Still, I wasn’t happy with myself. I was getting closer to my goal, but I still had one huge hurdle to get over: Getting my surgery. I knew that if I got my surgery, I’d feel such great gender euphoria that I wouldn’t know what to do with myself!

After a recent consultation with Dr. Scott Mosser in San Francisco, I feel so close to my goal! He won’t be able to schedule me until 2022, but I thought that I would ask YOU, my family and friends, to help me reach my goal of finally getting closer to who I was truly meant to be. While this goal isn’t the full cost of the surgery, I thought it’d be reasonable to ask only for this much.
