On March 27, 2026, my brother Jason got the news that his cancer had spread throughout his body and that he is now considered terminal. Cancer has been a reality in his life for the last number of years but it has taken a drastic turn for the worse as it moved into his liver and spine.

Instead of giving up, Jason decided to fight even harder and he began treatments at the beginning of April. It also meant that he was forced to stop working.

Those treatments seemed to be effective and moving things in the right direction. However, as of this week, his levels are skyrocketing once again.

This news has drastically changed Jason's (and his family's) livelihood and ability to make ends meet. On top of the financial stress, it looks like the next step will be for Jason to travel regularly to Calgary for more aggressive treatments. This added travel will only increase their financial burden.

I am hoping to raise funds in order to alleviate this stress and burden on Jason and his family. If you are able to join in me in supporting Jason and this journey, I would be very grateful. Anything can help.
